Enhance Your Video Streaming Experience with Magic Actions for YouTube

The extension is a great idea and adds a lot of very useful features that work perfect. However, the extension constantly makes annoying popup windows begging the user to check out new features of the extension, show ads, or update their browser. This is highly disruptive and abusive and is unacceptable. Uninstalled. I discovered and installed Enhancer For Youtube instead, which has all the same features and more, without being a spammy piece of malware.

Used to be great before youtube optimized their platform but now its becoming a over-monetized shell of its former self with no way to stop the AI-based "helpful" reminders to clear cache and update your browser. Use something else.

I hope for DEVs to bring back working good, less interactive version. 1 year and no updates too.

Constant popups.

used to be great. they completly destroyed it with the popups showing up everywhere and all day long with the Chrome update which is not even relate to the really version that you have.

This computer user has employed Magic Actions for YouTube extension for better than two years and, if memory properly serves, this is my first rating of the software. Magic Actions is superb, especially in the "We-Don't-Rest-On-Our-Laurels" department for the software team appears to constantly be working on "the next best thing." One is tempted to think that should Magic Actions ever find that "end-all, be-all" product they might actually start charging money for it. With respect to YouTube-associated products and as it currently stands, Magic Actions is, simply, the best YouTube-extension software I've yet used.

Very shady extension with the pop ups and then the tools are just links to other sites. On top of this the options page has ads. I pay for YouTube prime but there is no away I'll turn of adblocking for this tool, just too sketchy to be trusted.

I just need what it should do, anything to do with Youtube and only Youtube. Do one job and do it well. I don't need it to pop up telling me "Scan and Update" my Chrome. It pops up very frequently and NO WAY to turn it off. Feels like a Malware and could be one. It's probably banking on its past good performance but now could be just that it so well hidden that you don't even know. Uninstalling this immed.

This was the only extension I used for a long time. Very useful. But they started pushing popups with "Your browser is outdated, click to update" constantly. Unwanted popups and unwanted sound are the two worst things any extension/webpage/browser can do, and that alone has made me look at the "Remove from Chrome" button several times.

Used to be a great extension, and then the dev started trying to monetize it a few years ago and now it is filled with annoying pop ups and constant ads telling you your browser is out of date. You can't even change the settings locally without going to their site. Worst-managed extension Ive ever used.

I have used this extension for many years and it was great. It would let you use a dark mode before it was built into youtube. I also used it to force the highest resolution on every video. I'm uninstalling after this review because of the annoying pop ups that have started sometime in the last few months or so. It had me scared that I got some sort of adware when it first started happening.

Don't bother. Don't install this or any software related to it's creator. Utterly disappointing. This used to be one of the best YT extensions. Now it is an intrusive, muddled, barely functional, ad-laden, pop-up and redirect spam-filled piece of trash. It's not even worth getting into specific issues, just don't waste your time. Google needs to remove it entirely,

Force enabling a recommended AI "option" that spams the browser with popups directing you to other extensions by the developer which is extremely annoying. Along with all other recent reviewers, i've uninstalled the extension. It seems maybe the original dev has either sold off the extension or had a change of heart. The Extension's Socials haven't been updated since this annoying extension update too which is even more fishy. This used to be a really useful app, but now bloated with questionable practices and ads. Shame....

Basically, Ican't imagine my day without this plugin/extension/addon. I originally got this extension a few years ago just to stop YouTube from "auto-playing" videos every time I opened a video in a new tab... Absolutely love instant volume control and repeat features. It also helps to stop high CPU usage while watching videos... yes, there are some issues, but I think the DEVs will fix it. Thanks guys, this is very useful tool. I'm definitely gonna suggest it to everyone I know, keep up the good work!

Ever since I installed this addon I've been having popups for a "2024 Calendar" app, also made by this developer. Out of nowhere I suddenly have the tab show up, sometimes multiple times. This is completely unacceptable and I have reported the addon as adware.

this extension is not helpful. I tried it out, and when I got an ad on youtube, i could not skip it at all. it's like the skip button disappeared. i deleted the extension, but it was still on my youtube. when i tried to click into settings, it would not take me anywhere. I have no idea how to delete it, and i'm tired of watching the ads, which are sometimes a minute long. Edit: I got it fixed. just open a new tab for youtube.

Been using for more than 2 years now. The experience has been more annoying. Some UI issues making it hard to see certain texts and buttons.

Dark mode seems to hide/camoflage a lot of UI elements on youtube.com. Various elements such as "X" and "subcribe" are invisible (but clickable) since the colors appear to be the same.

The "Auto HD" function doesn't even work. I have it set to 720p, but every video still automatically changes to the lowest resolution, even when 720p is available for the video.

I was looking for an extension to expand youtube comments. This does not do that.

No words for such a great app, Magic Actions is just fantastic ext, with very useful features. Love the night mode switсher, stop autoplay and irreplaceable mouse wheel volume control. Highly recommend this easy to use and really stable ap for youtube, this is amazing application for music lovers.
